The IIMT University is at the forefront whenever it comes to serving the nation may it be delivering quality education to the young generation and imparting skill based education through its well qualified teachers or providing students a world class infrastructure in terms of its high tech enabled Laboratories and modern equipment and this is why IIMT University receives appreciation by MGNCRE, Govt. Of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIMT University has served the country through its various social responsibility acts and all the IIMT\u2019ians feel proud of the service which IIMT University has delivered to the society whenever the society has needed. At times of Corona, when there was total lockdown and the covid affected persons were looking for proper treatment, the Hospital \u2013 IIMT Lifeline Hospital was converted into a Covid Hospital for providing relief to the society and this a fact that the hospital staff served the covid patients with full dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When there was nobody in the market, in the society, in the nearby restaurants, IIMT University served the covid affected families with packed meals so that the affected family do remain hungry. Food was served to the covid patients in the nearby areas at times of difficulty when there was nobody to offer food (all the food shops and restaurants were closed and not functional). IIMT University has always stood for the needy and helped the society at difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIMT University also supported the children who lost their parents during the covid period due to pandemic. (News post Link)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We at IIMT University not only teach sustainability to the students but also practice what we preach. We have aligned our organizational goals with the United Nations Sustainability Goals. Many sustainable practices can be observed in the university from Rain Water Harvesting to Solid Waste Decomposition, from using clean and green energy by installing Solar Cells for electricity generation to using E-Cars in the campus for reducing carbon footprints, from planting trees and maintaining a green ecosystem to reducing the use the paper by reusing the paper for the other blank side for rough work. All these initiatives of the IIMT University leads to a university with values aligned to the United Nations\u2019 SDG\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to Entrepreneurship, IIMT University has a separate wing known as IIMT CIIE (Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship) for the development and providing a startup ecosystem to the aspiring entrepreneurs. We at CIIE search and support the entrepreneurs working for the upliftment and betterment of the society. We promote the social entrepreneurs by helping and guiding them for a sustainable business formation. Our main focus is to ideate, create and innovate great ideas that can transform the society and promote social entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIMT University focuses on the all-round development of a student and therefore it has formed USR clubs of students mentored by a teacher to impart social responsibility in its students who are the future of tomorrow. At IIMTU we believe in the spirit of giving something back to the society and making the world a better place to live in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We at IIMTU not only teach students how to be a responsible human being but also practice what we preach. We organize health camps in various places for nearby citizens; we organize awareness programs connecting the local villages and the places around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIMT University has created a positive social impact which the society needs. It has worked tremendously and with full faith in-order to help the jobseekers get jobs by organizing job fairs at regular intervals. Many people get jobs in the job fairs and IIMT University hosts such Job Fairs to reduce the problem of unemployment in the youth of the nearby areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Witnessing the activities and the role of the University in social activities, the MGNCRE tied up for a new initiative to promote social entrepreneurship and rural engagement and we at our university are feel pride in saying that IIMT University receives appreciation by MGNCRE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education Ministry of Education, Government of India, has praised IIMT University for its work in the area of social entrepreneurship and rural engagement. The Ministry has commended the events as being highly progressive and motivating, and we feel glad for our important contribution to this national effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
