The ERP Head will be responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at IIMTU. This role requires strategic planning, system optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless integration of ERP solutions across all university departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the ERP system, aligning it with the institution's goals and operational needs.
- Lead the implementation, customization, and enhancement of ERP solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure effective integration with existing processes.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to the ERP platform.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and data integrity.
- Manage ERP-related troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
- Train faculty, staff, and administrators on ERP functionalities and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend relevant technology upgrades.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements related to ERP solutions.
- Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide analytics for informed decision-making.
- Lead a team of ERP analysts, developers, and IT professionals to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in ERP implementation and management, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in ERP system integration, customization, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in database management, SQL, and cloud-based ERP solutions.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in higher education ERP systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data privacy laws applicable to educational institutions.
- Certifications in ERP systems or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL, SAP, Oracle Certification).
