The university library came in to being with the formation of IIMT university in the year 2017. The library serves the students, faculty members, research students and other staff of various courses.
The various courses run by the university covers engineering courses in various disciplines, management courses, medical / paramedical/ nursing courses, agricultural sciences, basic sciences, allied sciences hotel management and catering services, computer science courses and various other courses.
The library houses books, journals, project reports, encyclopaedias, and dictionary of various subjects in addition to the non book materials like cds, dvds reports/ thesis etc.
The library has a very rich collection of reference and text books on all the subjects related to the courses run by IIMT university in addition to the general books, competitive exams books, best sellers novels and literature books in Hindi and English. A rich collection of religious books of various religions are also available for gaining the spiritual knowledge and making the students develop their overall personality as a good citizen. At present it consists of 188480+ books and subscription to 120 periodicals. Library has computerized the data of books in Koha software. The students search their queries through opac (online public access catalog) facility of Koha software.

Library rules and regulations
General rules
- Identity card is compulsory for getting access to the library.
- Silence has to be maintained.
- No discussion permitted inside the library.
- Textbooks, printed materials and issued books are not allowed to be taken inside the reference section.
- Using mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
- Everyone must enter their name and sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library.
- The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately.
- Library borrower cards are non transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.
- Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises.
