Our Commitment
Sexual and reproductive health is a fundamental component of overall wellbeing. IIMT University recognises that students need access to accurate information, compassionate clinical care, and supportive counselling services across all aspects of reproductive and sexual health.
Our Sexual & Reproductive Health services are provided through the Campus Health Centre in partnership with the Counselling Centre and specialist referral networks. All services are available to students of all genders, and all interactions are treated with complete confidentiality and respect.
Who can access these services? All registered IIMT University students, regardless of gender, age, relationship status, or background. No prior appointment is required for initial consultations — walk-in sessions are available during Health Centre OPD hours.
Services Available
Confidential consultations with a female Medical Officer for menstrual health, gynaecological concerns, PCOS, vaginal infections, and related issues. Female staff available on request.
Non-judgmental information on contraceptive options. Referral to family planning services at partner hospitals for prescriptions and clinical advice on contraception methods.
Consultations for irregular periods, menstrual pain, and related concerns. Menstrual hygiene products available at the Health Centre. Awareness programmes conducted annually.
Confidential information on sexually transmitted infections (STIs), STI prevention, and referrals to partner diagnostic labs for testing. All STI-related consultations are strictly confidential.
Confidential counselling sessions addressing relationship concerns, sexual identity, consent, and emotional wellbeing related to sexual health. Provided by the university Counselling Centre.
Confidential, non-directive counselling for students who may be pregnant. Referral to appropriate healthcare providers and information on available support options — without judgment.
Consultations for male reproductive health concerns, fertility awareness, hormonal health, and other reproductive health questions — all treated with complete confidentiality.
Regular workshops and awareness sessions on sexual health, safe practices, consent education, menstrual health, and reproductive rights — open to all students.

Sexual Harassment Prevention — POSH Act
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) — POSH Act 2013
IIMT University is fully compliant with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace Act, 2013 (POSH Act). The university has a duly constituted Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to receive, investigate, and resolve complaints of sexual harassment.
Any student who has experienced or witnessed sexual harassment on campus or in a university-related context can file a complaint with the ICC. All complaints are investigated with confidentiality and sensitivity.
How to report: Contact the ICC Presiding Officer through the university's Grievance Redressal System or visit the Registrar's Office.

Access the Services
Walk-in or appointment: Students can access sexual and reproductive health services by walking in to the Campus Health Centre during OPD hours, or by contacting the Counselling Centre to book a confidential appointment. No referral letter is required.
