IIMT University mandates annual environmental sustainability training for all students and staff. For all new undergraduate students, the compulsory Value Added Course VAC-BNYS-001 "Environmental Education for a Sustainable Future" (35 contact hours, credit-bearing under NEP 2020/UGC CBCS) is the primary delivery mechanism. Faculty and staff complete the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) each August.

Social sustainability training is delivered through the mandatory Orientation Week EDI Induction, the USR Club Social Responsibility Induction, UBA pre-field ethics workshops, and the annual Faculty Development Programme.
