About YUKTI – National Innovation Repository (NIR)
YUKTI – National Innovation Repository (NIR) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, implemented by MoE’s Innovation Cell and AICTE. The goal of YUKTI – NIR is to build a comprehensive repository of ideas, innovations, and startups developed by academic institutions. It aims to provide continuous support through mentorship, grant assistance, and connections with incubation units, investors, and knowledge agencies.
How YUKTI – NIR Works
Institutions participating in YUKTI – NIR, such as IIMT University, play a crucial role in the innovation ecosystem. Through Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs), established within Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), ideas, innovations, and startups are identified and nurtured. The YUKTI – NIR platform facilitates the submission and verification of submissions, as well as providing essential support services such as mentoring, grant assistance, and networking opportunities.
