"In my capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to the Republic of India, I have just led, from 20 to 22 October 2026, a delegation from our Embassy in New Delhi to the city of Meerut, in the State of Uttar Pradesh, at the invitation of the management of the IIMT University. During this brief but highly informative visit, we received every care, respect, consideration, and honour befitting our position.
We are returning to New Delhi fully satisfied with the initial contacts we had with the various authorities of the University. In the very near future, we will continue discussions with them with a view to establishing a first cohort of Guinean students who may come to pursue their university studies here. Taking advantage of this exceptional opportunity, I would like to express, on behalf of the political and administrative authorities of the Republic of Guinea, our gratitude, our appreciation, and our complete satisfaction for everything that has been undertaken for our mission in this wonderful State of Uttar Pradesh, in the city of Meerut."
