IIMTU is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Law. The Department of Law is an integral part of IIMTU, and we are looking for candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in Law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and examinations Conduct research in the field of Law and publish scholarly articles in leading journals Participate in academic and professional activities, such as conferences, workshops, and seminars Advise and mentor students, including supervising their research projects and internships Contribute to the development of the Department of Law by participating in curriculum design and other administrative tasks Engage with the legal profession and the wider community through outreach activities, such as pro bono work, consultancy, and public lectures.
Requirements:
A doctoral degree in Law from a recognized university A record of excellence in teaching, research, and service, commensurate with the rank being applied for Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of Law, such as Corporate Law, International Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, or Environmental Law Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to contribute to the academic and professional community Familiarity with digital learning technologies and other teaching tools.
