At IIMT University, the PhD programme in law is offered in the following two modes:

PhD Program (Regular)
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent professional degree in the relevant or allied/interdisciplinary subject, recognized by the appropriate statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per UGC norms.

PhD Program (Part-Time)
The part-time option is available for working professionals, including university faculty, staff members, and project personnel such as JRFs who are engaged in sponsored research projects under university supervision.
