About Department

Department of Hotel Management of IIMT University Meerut is flourishing with world class facilities, state of the art infrastructure, distinguished faculty members and best learning environment. It focuses on in-depth laboratory task in order to impart the excellent knowledge accompanied with essential skills in core areas such as Management and Catering operations, Food and Beverage, Food Production, Room division Management, Tourism Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, and General Management to its students.

The HM Department is enriched with academic knowledge, hands-on functional learning, distinguished faculty members, training sessions and internships to produce professionals for the worldwide hotel industry. The students are groomed through industry enriched curriculum and intensive service oriented practical in the state of art infrastructure. The department motivates the students to delve deep into the hotel industry knowledge through in-campus seminars, workshops and off-campus visits. The department furthermore concentrates on two major Non-Operational areas: Finance and Food Science.

    Collaborations & Accreditation

    The IIMT University has been established under Uttar Pradesh Act Number 32 of 2016. Gazette notified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh Dated 16 September, 2016. As per procedure for establishment of any state private university as outlined in the act, the university shall promulgate its ordinances and statues/rules and regulations for conduct of various programs.
