“ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION- AS CAREER OPPORTUNITY”

School of Hotel Management Catering & Tourism (SOHMCT) organized a one day workshop on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION- AS CAREER OPPORTUNITY” on November 09, 2022 in seminar hall, F Block. The programme aimed to give undergraduate, postgraduate, and faculty members the chance to broaden their skill sets in numerous crucial areas related to creating career prospects in entrepreneurship and innovation. The programme started at 12:00 PM with the welcome address by Mr. Harpreet Singh and Ms. Tanisha. The inaugural and introduction of the programme was given by Deputy Dean Mr. Nirbhay Kumar.
The guest and expert orator Mr. Vishvanath Singh, Business Development Manager, Emirates group, has clarified what it means to be an entrepreneur by concentrating on key aspects of business development, such as the connection between innovation and entrepreneurship, types of entrepreneurs, functions of an entrepreneur, barriers to entrepreneurship, qualities of an entrepreneur, a circle diagram for startup, internal & external factors of entrepreneurship, and finally the question of "My startup story and innovation."
