School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPS), IIMT University Meerut organized a session on “A brainstorming session on stimulating ideas for a sustainable future: Nature-inspired engineering."

This session aimed to bring together diverse perspectives and expertise, to identify practical and feasible applications of nature-inspired engineering across various domains, such as energy, architecture, transportation, and materials. Ultimately, the goal of the session was to inspire actionable initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future, where human technology coexists synergistically with the natural world.

The speaker for the session was Dr. Vipin Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor, School of Engineering and Technology, IIMT University Meerut.

After attending the session, students were able to identify and apply nature-inspired engineering concepts in daily life, gain and exchange knowledge between biologists, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders, think creatively, and develop a problem-solving mindset. More than 100 students attended this session. The session was supervised by Dr. Atul Pratap Singh, Principal, SoPS.
