The School of Media, Film, and Television Studies at IIMT University is proud to share that its students recently participated in Amar Ujala's renowned program "Samvad." The focus of the program was the Municipal Corporation elections, and students were asked to provide their opinions on a variety of topics. These included what they believed a mayor should do in dialogue, what they expected from the mayor and councilor, and what they thought was missing from the previous 5 years that they hoped the mayor would fulfill in the coming 5 years.
Dean Dr. Ravindra Pratap Rana emphasized the importance of meaningful dialogue and how it is essential to strengthen the foundation of democracy. Head of the department Vishal Sharma lauded such programs as beneficial for journalism students and provided topic-based guidance to the students. All the faculty members of the department assisted in preparing the students for the event.
Mr. Rajendra Singh, the Editor of Amar Ujala, appreciated the students for their clear thinking and understanding of their duties towards the nation. He shared some mantras that are essential for journalism and wished the students a bright future.
Participating in Amar Ujala's "Samvad" was a valuable experience for the students, allowing them to express their opinions on important issues and engage in meaningful dialogue. The School of Media, Film, and Television Studies is proud of its students' participation and looks forward to more opportunities like this in the future.
