School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPS) at IIMT University, Meerut, organised an Expert Talk on "Human Rights and Reduced Inequalities" under SDG10 on the occasion of Human Rights Day on December 8, 2023.The experts, Mr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma (Human Rights Defender, National Human Rights Defender) and Mrs. Dipti Sharma Joshi(National Secretary, Human Rights Council of India, Director of Global Health Care) gave our students an understanding of exactly what are Human Rights!

Human Rights Day is a reminder of the inalienablerights that every human being deserves. Our experts delved into critical topics, shedding light on various facets of human rights, ranging from social justice and equality to access to education, healthcare, and more. They also shared their insights, experiences, and visions with our students for a fairer world.

 

This informative session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Atul Pratap Singh, the principal of SoPS, coordinated by Miss. Mansi Aggarwal and Miss. Shiwani Agarwal, with the help of all the staff of SoPS. More than 100 students gained knowledge from this session.
