Unlocking Success: MBA Boot Camp at IIMT University

At IIMT University, we are dedicated to fostering academic excellence, professional development, and ethical empowerment among our students. While hard skills are honed through classroom teachings, labs, internships, industrial visits, assignments, case studies, simulation exercises, and co-curricular activities, at IIMTU we understand that success in a career requires more than just traditional knowledge. In pursuit of making our students working world ready, a two-day learning camp was organised on 20th and 21st November 2023 for the MBA students by the name of “Boot Camp 2023.“

Day 1: Expanding Horizons

The primary objective of the first day was to immerse students in practical experiences that complement their regular management classes.

The objectives of Day 1 were: Develop adaptability and foster an understanding of others' perceptions. Encourage students to step out of their comfort zones. Instil an appreciation for diversity. Cultivate group communication skills.

Day 2: Building Professionalism

The focus of the second day was on the significance of professionalism, equipping students with essential skills for the dynamic corporate world.

The objectives of Day 2 were: Learning about corporate dressing and grooming. Mastering the power of body language. Understanding the manners of office culture. How to present a business plan effectively.

At the conclusion of the Boot Camp, students shared their learnings with confidence and enthusiasm to implement them in their career lives. At IIMT University, we continue to pave the way for our students' success by providing them with the techniques and tools they need to excel in today's dynamic business world. This two-days Boot Camp was supervised by Mrs. Ekta Sharma, HoD of the training department of IIMTU, with the support of the Dean, HoD and faculty members of the IIMT’s Management Department of the School of Commerce and Management (SCM).
