Institution Development Plan (IDP) Cell
The Institution Development Plan (IDP) Cell at IIMT University, Meerut, is dedicated to ensuring sustained quality growth across the university. Our main objective is to enhance the university’s infrastructure, resources, and academic environment, ultimately preparing students to become successful and responsible citizens.
Functions of the IDP Cell
The IDP Cell performs a range of strategic functions aimed at driving continuous improvement and innovation across the institution. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing an Institutional Development Plan: Creating both short-term (annual) and long-term (5-year to 15-year) development plans based on the university's goals and objectives.
- Setting Up an Institutional Innovation Council (IIC): Working to establish and support the IIC to promote innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within the university community.
- Registering the IIC in Compliance with Government Guidelines: Ensuring that the Institutional Innovation Council is registered according to Government of India guidelines and actively working on projects that align with these directives.
- Facilitating Institutional Participation in ARIIA: Coordinating efforts to participate in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), which highlights innovation practices in educational institutions.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Planning and conducting evaluations to assess the quality of student learning, university facilities, and institutional performance.
- Participating in the NIRF Rankings: Organizing and managing the university's participation in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), ensuring that IIMT University meets the required standards for national benchmarking.
