Innovation in Action
The Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 at IIMT University has officially concluded, leaving behind an inspiring experience of innovation, collaboration, and youthful energy. This internal round has been nothing short of a celebration of creativity, where students came together to showcase their talent, ideas, and problem-solving abilities in the true spirit of SIH.
This year, 50 outstanding teams were shortlisted as winners in the Internal Hackathon, each comprising six members with diverse skill sets. These teams stood out for their creativity, innovation, and ability to address real-world challenges with practical solutions. From brainstorming fresh concepts to developing structured presentations and prototypes, the journey of every participant was filled with learning, teamwork, and a drive to make an impact.
The Buzz on Campus
Throughout the hackathon, the campus buzzed with energy as participants worked tirelessly to refine their ideas. The atmosphere was electrifying corridors filled with discussions, labs filled with late-night coding sessions, and classrooms turned into mini innovation hubs. It was a true reflection of what SIH stands for: encouraging students to think beyond textbooks and reimagine systems that touch everyday lives.
Seamless Organisation, Limitless Creativity
The organising team at IIMT University takes pride in successfully coordinating the Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025. From registrations and logistics to mentoring sessions and evaluations, every effort was made to provide a seamless and enriching experience for all participants. The passion, dedication, and creativity displayed by our students throughout the event were truly inspiring. Each idea carried immense potential, and the collaborative spirit demonstrated by the teams stood as a testament to the power of innovation and teamwork nurtured at our university.
Mentorship and Guidance
Our mentors and jury members played an equally important role in guiding the participants. Their feedback and encouragement helped students sharpen their problem statements, structure their solutions, and think not only about innovation but also about feasibility, scalability, and real-world usability. The exchange between students and experts created a rich learning environment that added immense value to the hackathon.
