Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath has given IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University a status of a Patron Institution. With the recognition of maintaining remarkable quality of nursing education and becoming a mentor institution, IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University is expected to provide proper guidance to other nursing institutions in Uttar Pradesh for their development.
On Saturday, Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the “Mission Niramaya” campaign at the convention center of SGPGI, Lucknow. In the grand program, Hon’ble Chief Minister presented a certificate of Patron Institution to the Principal Mrs. Asha Yadav, of IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Brajesh Pathak and Minister of State for Medical Education, Medical and Health, Family Welfare Shri Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh were also present on this occasion.
It is worth mentioning that IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University has been selected by the State Medical Faculty as the Patron Institute. The college has been given this status only after rigorous inspection and quality checks by experts. In future, IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University will work closely with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to enhance the quality of other nursing institutions.
The Chancellor of IIMT University, Sh. Yogesh Mohanji Gupta, while expressing happiness over this achievement, said that the responsibility entrusted by the Uttar Pradesh government shows that we are successful in making meaningful efforts in the right direction. The Chancellor conveyed his best wishes to the Nursing Department for this achievement. The Pro-Chancellor of IIMT University, Dr. Mayank Agrawal said that the quality of the nursing sector would be enhanced by giving the status of a patron institution to IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University. Dr. Deepa Sharma, Vice Chancellor of IIMT University said that this achievement has been achieved only due to the inspiration and guidance given by the IIMT University Management.
