INNOVATIVE BEST OUT OF WASTE PROJECTS ON “WORLD INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY DAY”

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPS) organised an event - INNOVATIVE BEST OUT OF WASTE PROJECTS ON “WORLD INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY DAY” on 21 st April, 2023 at the showcase room in the SoPS, A Block. World Creativity and Innovation Day is a global UN day celebrated on April 21 to raise awareness around the importance of creativity and innovation in problem solving with respect to advancing the United Nations sustainable development goals, also known as the "global goals". The objective behind this activity was to encourage our young students’ imaginative skills to create useful and innovative products out of the waste material. The event was organised by Ms. Mansi, coordinated by Mr. Aakash and Supervised under the guidance of SoPS Principal Dr. Atul Pratap Singh. Students made very best innovative and creative projects by using waste material like plastic bottles, ropes, thread, wool, dried stem, etc.
In this competition, 1 st prize was bagged by Mr. Saksham Kaushik and Mr. Raman Tomer. 2 nd prize was bagged by Miss. Khushi Tyagi, Mr. Aniket and Miss. Nikki Pal. And 3 rd prize was bagged by Mr. Anant Tyagi, Mr. Riddham Rathi and Mr. Ashwani Kumar
Total 60 participants took part in this event.
