BA Course Structure

The BA course curriculum is divided into three categories:

1. Core Courses

Students must select one language subject and two social science subjects from the following:

Language Subjects:

• English (Ideal for BA English Honours)
• Hindi

Social Science Subjects:

• Economics
• Political Science
• Sociology
• History
• Psychology

2. Foundation Courses

• First Year – Bhartiya Sanskriti and Rashtra Gaurav
• Second Year – Communication and Writing Skills (in English or Hindi)

Note: A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass each foundation course. Students failing may be provisionally promoted but must clear all foundation courses to graduate.

3. Qualifying Courses

• First Year – Sports and Physical Education
• Second Year – General Awareness
• Third Year – Environmental Studies

Note: These subjects must be qualified with at least 40% marks but are not counted in the final division.
