Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)
- PEO1: The knowledge of microbiology can be applied for the sustainable welfare of human society, the program includes information on significant microorganisms involved in medical, agricultural, and industrial applications, enzymes, biomolecule’s structure and function, various tools and techniques, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, and genetic engineering.
- PEO2: Practical classes are intended to give the students laboratory expertise in microbiology. In addition to designing and carrying out experiments, students will be able to understand as well as analyze experimental data.
- PEO3: The program equips students with the desired knowledge and skills necessary for them to pursue further education in the fields of microbiology and related fields, as well as in multidisciplinary fields including, biochemistry, biotechnology, and molecular biology. It will also assist in the development of a variety of generic skills important for fostering student entrepreneurship.
