About Course
Since the establishment of SoBST, the School is providing an experimental, creative, and stimulating environment to the research scholars of the school. Department offers the Ph.D. program in the different areas of applied and theoretical physics. The course curriculum is designed as per the UGC guidelines. The key research areas of the department are material science, Nano-science, thin film and Electronics, etc. Department of physics of SoBST inspires scholars to participate in national and international conferences in the best research organizations of India like IIT’s, IISER’s, TIFR, BARC, PRL, etc. Department also regularly organizes events in the same field like the popular talks on Nobel Prize in Physics, Popularization of science and on Theoretical Physics. Department has skilled manpower that has very wide experience of research and guiding of research scholars. Many past students are presently serving in the state and national level institutes, universities and colleges which indicate our credit in the scientific community and society.
