About Department
The Department of Basic Science & Technology offers B.Sc. (PCM), B.Sc. (PSM), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc. (Statistics), and PhD programs. The school has adopted modern pedagogies to teach in which experimental practical learning is very decisive part along with sound theoretical knowledge of the subject. Thus, all the labs are well equipped and contemporary.
The exemplary effort of the faculty members amalgamated with weekly guest lectures and seminars on emerging trends in sciences produce a conducive academic environment in the department. These happening promote research and development awareness among the students to keep themselves up to date in basic sciences. The mentorship programs adopted by the Department provide counselling and help to the students immediately. NPTEL and SWAYAM programs are part of the curriculum.
Department also encourage NCC, NSS and Educational tours to make the students well aware about the need of the society. These activities amalgamated with cultural and sports activities provide an edge over other academic campuses. Department has accessibility of research and development (R & D) section of IIMT University, Meerut which make it the better department to promote R & D activities.

Collaborations & Accreditation
The IIMT University has been established under Uttar Pradesh Act Number 32 of 2016. Gazette notified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh Dated 16 September, 2016. As per procedure for establishment of any state private university as outlined in the act, the university shall promulgate its ordinances and statues/rules and regulations for conduct of various programs.
