About Naturopathy & Yogic Science

Naturopathy is not just a system of medicine but a way of life based mainly on the ancient practice of the application of the simple laws of nature. It is call to “RETURN TO NATURE” and to resort to simple way of living in harmony with the self, society and environment. Naturopathy provides not only a simple practical approach to the management of disease, but a firm theoretical basis which is applicable to all the holistic medical uses.

“Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion. It is the most valuable inheritance of the present. It is the essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow.” Yoga is the science of right living and, as such, is intended to be incorporated in daily life. It works on all aspects of the person: the physical, vital, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual.

Yoga and Naturopathy is based on various drugless treatments like Acupuncture, acupressure, Yoga and meditation, fasting therapy, Diet and nutrition, mud therapy, hydrotherapy, chiropractics and Osteopathy, Manipulation therapy, exercise and electrotherapy, reflexology, counselling and lots more.

In order to become eligible for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) course, candidates must attain at least 17 years of age as of 31st December of that year. It is mandatory to study in the science stream with subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology as the core subjects. Also, aspirants of the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) degree must maintain at least 50% marks in their aggregate. After meeting these requirements, candidates must sit and pass the entrance exams that are held at both national and state levels.
