The School of Arts and Humanities, IIMT University moves ahead with a great vision to impart quality education to the young aspirants pursuing B.A, B.A (H) Business Economics, M.A. and Doctorate Programme. It offers students and researchers the opportunities to develop their skills and practice as artists, makers, historians, theorist, writers and curators. All are encouraged to focus in depth on the particularities of their own work while also being exposed to the more critically diverse positions across the school.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the School of Arts & Humanities, IIMT University, Meerut. As a student in SOAH programme you become an intellectual explorer who travels to distant or unfamiliar places to find out more about yourself and this is indeed a true description of the arts education. IIMT University, North India's Largest Education Group helps you to embark on that journey where you ask challenging questions, find out what really matters to you, learn about the world as it is and imagine the world as you think it ought to be! Foundational courses, such as history, sociology, economics, political science, languages and writing, are firmly anchored in the School of Arts &Humanities. Each of these courses will engage you in the practices of inquiry and contemplation, which are the tools necessary for the creation of new knowledge and learning. Teaching methods of SOAH foster self-knowledge and empower the students to deal with the complexity of our globalised world. These methods include critical thinking, creative problem- solving, community engagement and appreciation of diversity, which are embedded in the curriculum and will allow you to become an engaged global citizen. Your years of studies at SoAH, will go by very quickly and you will soon be able to explore career possibilities in real-world settings through internships and service learning. You are entrusted with setting the stage for subsequent classes of new SoAH students. You will engage with the vibrant learning community of students, faculty and staff. You will establish a rapport with the genial SoAH faculty, who learn from you as you learn from them.
